The Cova Hotel is in the center of San Francisco, nestled between the historic Civic Center and Nob Hill neighborhoods. The immediate area is rich with culture, featuring the historic Opera House, theatre district, and Asian Art Museum within walking distance.
Within walking distance of the Cova Hotel one can find an impressive selection of diverse restaurants, as well as many assorted nightclubs and bars. Union Square, Moscone Center, Sony Metreon, SOMA, Hayes Valley, Chinatown, and North Beach are within twenty minutes' walk. Within two blocks are the State and Federal buildings and courthouses, which are just three blocks off Market Street and the Civic Center BART/MUNI public transportation systems. From there, the Financial District, Mission, Castro, Marina, Waterfront, Golden Gate Bridge and Park, and Japan Center are less than 30 minutes away. Ocean Beach, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39, and the entire Bay Area are all within 45 minutes of the hotel.
