Sikfors Herrgard is controlled by KRAV, the Swedish organisation for organic food producers. This and the fact that we are nominated as one of the best manors in Sweden illustrate the manner with which our food and service is presented.
Served in beautifully renovated dining rooms that retain an atmosphere from the 18th century. Following dinner, the natural place to have your coffee is in front of the fire in our "Herrummet".
You can also participate in one of our traditional Swedish cooking courses. We combine these courses with excursions to the “House of food” and activities amongst the nature.
Our Stångjärnsmagasinet offers 8 rooms.
The rooms are of high standard and are equipped with bedroom, living-room and bathroom. The remaining 8 rooms you will find in our Guest house.
The manor is a typical country manor build for the patron of Sikfors Bruk in 1849.
You’ll find Sikfors Herrgård 12 km north-east of Grythyttan in the northern
part of Örebro county.
The distance to Gothenburg is 350 km and 280 km to Stockholm
