Close to Praia do Carvoeiro, on the cliff of Albandeira beach, is the location of Suites Alba Resort & Spa, aprox. 40 minutes from Faro airport. Comprising of 50 Suites, the resort offers its guests all the services of a top 5-star hotel. A butler service is available. Also available at the resort there is the Ruby Bar, the Arc d’Aqua restaurant, Morgadinho restaurant and the Catedral dos Vinhos. The outdoor pool has warm sea water. The heated indoor pool, the Jacuzzi and the gymnasium are adjoining to the Spa. The facilities make the resort the ideal retreat for couples, but also to families.

The resort comprises 47 Family Suites, with 2 bed-rooms and the 3 Ocean Suites with 1 bed-room. The Suites (about 100m2) are immaculately furnished in classical style and decorated in soft Mediterranean tones, each with living and dining room, balcony or terrace, wooden floor, kitchenette and a beautifully designed bathroom. Further details include fireplace, air-conditioning, flat screen TVs, DVD system, luxury bedding with fine cotton and soft down quilts.
This resort, set on top of the hill by Albandeira beach, occupies an area of about 40,000 m². To the east is Praia do Carvoeiro, an area with rich vegetation which is considered among the best of the whole Algarve region, despite being just 50 minutes from Faro Airport.
