We offer our guests an extensive breakfast with coffee and home made pie. Lunch is also served but can be prepared as a packed lunch if you prefer.
The tasty 3-course dinner is prepared with care by the owner, using products from the local farms.
The guest house’s beautiful location in the North West of Friesland offers guests ample opportunities for hiking and biking through picturesque meadows and natural bird habitats. The famous Eleven City route is equally as enjoyable if cycled instead of skated and brings you past numerous quaint towns and post-card settings. Sailing is another favourite past time of locals and visitors alike.
The historical port town is just a few kilometres away. Explore the neighbouring towns of Franeker and Bolsward, Makkum and Workum and visit the many interesting museums in the area of the guest house. Also worth a visit: the Royal Tichelaar ceramics factory; the oldest in the Netherlands.
On the date of arrival, the guest should please inform the hotel of any reservations needed for a table in the restaurant during their stay.
