Room information

The 100 spacious and acclimatised rooms of our 4-star hotel are located on 5 floors (accessible by lift or stairs). Each floor has its own characteristic design, based on a certain theme. This creates different atmospheres and makes this hotel unique. All rooms feature the same facilities, regardless of their theme.

The rooms provide excellent complimentary facilities like an in-room laptop safe, coffee and tea facilities and the use of high-speed internet via a data port.

All beds are 2,1 metres long!

The different themes per floor are:

Art
The bright colours used by Mondrian for his abstract paintings were the inspiration for this floor. Unique style and design with the possibility for young artists to exhibit their artworks.

Theatre
Willkommen, Bienvenue, Welcome... to the theatre floor with its deep red and gold colours and dancing ballerinas. Feel like a star and enjoy the experience!

Hengelo
The combination of modern business design with the richness of Hengelo's industrial past has a surprising effect that you have to see. The (former) Mayors of Hengelo will guard over you as you fall asleep.

Because of activities in the centre of Hengelo, we advise you to enter Hengelo via the A35 Hengelo-Zuid, in stead of using exit Hengelo on the A1. Via the A35 Hengelo-Zuid you will reach the hotel without any (planed) road works.

1. from the A35 and Hengelo Zuid

From the A1, follow A35 Hengelo Zuid/ Enschede

Exit at Hengelo-Zuid / Twentekanaal / Haaksbergen (exit 27). Turn left at the end of the exit.
Stay in this street, Haaksbergerstraat, keep driving in the direction of Centrum (=centre).
Continue the street until the Oelerweg, continue driving on this street. You will drive past the TIO College.
Turn right at the 2nd traffic light, and go straight ahead at the roundabout. Continue the road, follow the bend. Turn left at the traffic lights under the viaduct.
Follow the bend to the right (Beursstraat).
Turn left at the first street. At your left hand side you will see Eden Start Hotel

2. From Enschede Centre

Follow the Hengelosestraat direction Hengelo.
This street turns into the Enschedesestraat.
Go straight ahead at the 1st and 2nd traffic lights.
Then, follow the bend to the left and turn right at the first street.
At your left hand side you will see the Eden Star Hotel
