Experience a taste of historic Tuscan life at this 14th century villa with lovely grounds, connected to nearby Florence by public transport and the free hotel shuttle.
If you prefer to drive, you can reach the historic centre of Florence (9 km away) in just 20 minutes. As soon as you arrive at the villa you will get a feeling of grandeur. With large lawns, pretty flowers, age-old trees and a shady outdoor pool, this is a peaceful setting.
Inside the hotel the large, elegant public rooms are decorated in a classic style. The La Limonaia restaurant, serving traditional Tuscan and Italian cuisine, has a terrace facing the park. The spacious bedrooms also overlook the gardens and have 19th century furniture and modern amenities. Some even have frescoes on the walls and ceiling.

Villa Stanley is located in Sesto Fiorentino, a quiet and fascinating residential area on the outskirts of Florence, just 9 km from the historical centre. It is easily accessible from the A1 and A11 motorways (just 2 km away) and only 3 km from Florence International Airport.
By Car:
- Exit the A1 motorway for Roma-Milano or the A11 for Genova-Firenze at the Firenze Nord exit.
- Follow signs for Firenze Centro/Aeroporto, then take the Sesto Fiorentino exit.
- Follow signs for the Hotel Villa Stanley, which you will find after 2 kilometres.
From Florence Airport (Amerigo Vespucci):
- Follow signs for the A1 and A11 motorways, then take the Sesto Fiorentino exit.
- Follow the above directions.
From Florence Santa Maria Novella train station:
Take a taxi or bus numbers 2 or 28. The stop is just 500 metres around the corner from the hotel.
