A small hotel, first opened in 1950 by the Swiss painter Edwin Hunziker. A renovated and large an ancient house immersed in the green of a wide garden of citrus trees and olives. Today, it belongs to the artist's family, who runs it with the same spirit of simple and warm hospitality as its founder.
The hotel offers panoramic views, quiet, romantic terraces, garden, free parking, tennis field, boccia, solarium, art gallery, air conditioning and telephone.

The hotel is the ideal place from which to depart for visiting Lipari and the other islands. The hall and aspects of the rooms are equipped with ancient furniture, original art galleries of the founder's paintings and all necessary comforts for a relaxing vacation.
The rooms, ample and bright, all offer bath, terrace and balcony or window. In front of you, from the terraces of the Villa Diana, you will have a fantastic view of the town of Lipari, the castle and the sea.
All of the rooms overlook the gardens and the terraces. Rooms are en suite with a bath or a shower. All of the rooms are different and individual, each one offering a unique view, balcony, bathroom or garden.
The hotel is on a little hill on the town, near the main street (400 metres) and the harbour (900 metres).
From the harbour:
- Take the directions for Pianoconte.
- Proceed 0.5 km along the Provincial Road.
- As soon as you are above G. Marconi, turn to the left at Tufo and you will be in Villa Diana.
- Villa Diana is only 800 metres from the harbour.
