Conveniently located 200 metres from the Basilica of San Francesco d'Assisi, Hotel Subasio first opened its doors in 1860. Since then it has welcomed prestigious guests such as Gabriele Dannunzio and Eleonora Duse, and celebrated the famous wedding of Princess Giovanna di Savoia and King Boris of Bulgaria.
