A very nice and unique tourist village situated in the heart of the Ligurian west Riviera, surrounded by green gardens just 1.300 meters far from the sea and the centre. Free shuttle bus service to the centre of Loano. It is one of the best and most comfortable Resort in Liguria, with special areas for children. Special rates beach. Location: Not too far from Genoa, Portofino, Sanremo, Montecarlo and Nice. A lot of sport activities can be done on the beach and in the sea: beach volley, sailing, wind surfing and fascinating diving excursions (natural park of Gallinara Island)
For those who love excursions in the nature this area offers cycling tours and trekking tours to discover its wonderful inland.
You can for instance climb up some green, windy mountains such as Monte Carmo: 1389 metres of rocks and sparse woods only one step far from the sky over Loano. A mountain which offers one of the most enchanting panoramas in Liguria.
At only a few kilometres far from Loano, in Garlenda, you will find an exclusive Golf Club and a horse-race track in Villanova.
