Awarded Georgina Campbell's Ireland The Guide’s ‘Country House of the Year in 2007’, Rathmullan House has a stunning location beside the sea, in the unspoilt northern part of County Donegal.
The hotel is cocooned amongst mature trees and gardens, which open onto a beautiful beach on the Atlantic inlet of Lough Swilly. Inside, the atmosphere is relaxed, bustling with young families during the holidays, and warm and romantic at other times.
The walled garden provides the kitchen with fresh home-grown produce every day. Rathmullan House has a charming 13-metre pool (depth ranges to 1.7 metres) and a steam room. Outside there are 2 tennis courts (racquets are provided). You can also play croquet on the lawns.
