The hotel is only a 5-minute drive from Shannon Airport. Deep within the Clare countryside lays the town of Shannon and the international gateway to the world's destinations. Recommended places to visit include Shannon Town, Ballcasey crafts centre, estuary walks and Skycourt Shopping Centre.
Within 10 minutes of the hotel, you will find Bunratty village, castle and Folk Park, Knappogue Castle, Dromoland and Mooghaun Hill fort, and Craggaunowen. There is also Quin village, with its 15th century abbey, and Cratloe Woods.
Within one hour of the hotel, you will find the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin (with seasonal ferry to the Aran Islands) and the Burren National Park. Beaches such as Lahinch, Fanore and Quilty, Loop Head peninsula and Lough Derg are also nearby.
The hotel is also within 20 minutes of the large towns of Limerick and Ennis, with plenty of retail therapy awaiting you.
