Only a 5-minute walk from the centre of Cork city, this period guest house overlooks the River Lee and eastern Cork, and is close to the bus and train stations.
Dating from the early 1900s, Gabriel House has recently been taken over by new management and has been restored to its former glory. It features 10-feet-high ceilings, a characteristic staircase and many original features.
Gabriel House offers bed and breakfast accommodation with great views. Gaze out over the harbour area and the spires of famous churches and cathedrals to the countryside beyond. Surrounded by mature gardens and a spacious private car park, the guest house offers a quiet setting, despite its central location.

Given its position, overlooking the harbour and the eastern section of Cork city, it is not surprising that our views are very impressive. From here, you can gaze out over the docks and the spires of Cork's churches and cathedrals to the countryside beyond.
The guest house is deceptively quiet for such a centrally located establishment. This is due, in part, to its setting, surrounded as it is by mature gardens and spacious private car parking facilities.
