Dating back to 1789, this charming historic residence houses a well-known, lively Irish bar and guesthouse in the heart of Dublin’s bustling city centre.
Within easy reach of shops, bars, galleries and museums, O'Donoghue's has a rich heritage and stands on a very historical site in the city. Well archived in almost all good Dublin guides, the property aims to keep alive the Irish musical tradition; an array of drawings and photos of Irish musicians adorn the walls and live music can regularly be heard in the bar.
Acquired by the O’Donoghue family in 1934, the family work hard to maintain the bar’s reputation, whilst also offering you a unique yet traditional stay in one of their newly-decorated guestrooms.
