Hotel Monica is not suitable for youngsters wishing to party every night but is ideal for those wishing to experience the lifestyle and atmosphere of the true Tenerife. It makes an ideal stopover point for those travellers going on to or returning from La Gomera or the other Canary Islands.
It is not possible to connect your own computer to the internet. There is a computer for public use in the lobby.
The hotel’s Gala Restaurant is run by Jose ‘El Gomero’, who will serve you with his particular sense of humour. He serves up a selection including tapas, set lunches (Tuesday to Friday), fresh meats, fish and pasta, and many dishes including typical local ingredients such as Canary Mojo sauce or El Gofio.

In addition to the facilities already mentioned, each room comes with a TV set (remote controls are available for a surcharge) and a safe deposit box (surcharge). All rooms are exterior.
El Médano beach, well-known for its windsurfing and kitesurfing, is only 5 minutes from the hotel by car. Beside it lies the Red Mountain, a beautiful natural environment which shelters a number of small coves. Here you will also find La Tejita, a black sand beach with nudist areas.
Near the hotel you find a bus stop to make short trips to Playa de las Américas (20 km) or to the Santa Cruz de Tenerife (55 km).
