The Villa Engiadina was built in 1902. In 1999, the castle-like, art nouveau building was renovated with loving attention to detail. It is situated at the edge of the national park, perched above the Lower Engadine valley.

The banker Johann Töndury built this private villa on a hillside situated in the flourishing tourist city Vulpera. The architect was Karl Koller, one of the most successful hotel architects in the Engadin region.
The playful architecture of the villa is typical for the period it was built. Various historical styles as well as regional elements were combined. Töndury never lived in the villa. The building was used as a hotel and sanatorium since 1906.
In 1999 it had a major renovation and refurbishment work and today is included in the illustrated book of historical hotels in Switzerland.
We have a restaurant and cosy terrace where we serve seasonal and local menus for lunch and dinner. We also offer half-board specialities and our home-made cakes and pastries are very popular.
Our spacious stylish rooms are ensuite and equipped with all common facilities. They offer relaxation and a quietness.
A wide variety of sports activities is available for visitors, from hiking to biking. For golf enthusiasts, the 9-hole course is on the doorstep.
